Welcome to our foundation, a key initiative of our multi-sport academy committed to fostering talent and driving positive change in our community. We believe in the transformative power of sports, and we aim to make sports accessible to children from all walks of life.

We are a fully recognized foundation dedicated to making a difference through sports.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for children from neighboring communities to engage in sports at our academy.
We understand that sports is a powerful vehicle for change – one that transcends race, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status. By sponsoring children from low-income areas, we aim to give them the chance to grow, develop their talents, and pave a path for future success.

Our dream is to positively change children’s lives through sports. We aim to create opportunities by partnering with corporations, high schools, international sports academies, and universities. By doing this, we can help children focus on harnessing their talents and pursuing their education without worrying about financial constraints.

OUR IMPACT
Currently, our scholarship program supports 30 talented children from low-income areas. Through our multi-sport curriculum encompassing soccer, rugby, basketball, swimming, and athletics, we aim for Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD).
Our goal is to vastly increase the number of children we can support through partnerships with corporations and individual sponsors. Not only do we aim to provide children with the opportunity to engage in sports, but also to learn important social and moral values such as loyalty, dedication, sacrifice, teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty, fairness, fair play, justice, and responsibility.

EpoweHER Girl Accelerator program
The NextGen Foundation is currently at the helm of the innovative EmpowHER Girls Accelerator Program. This trailblazing initiative aims to bolster the presence of girls in the sports sector, recognizing the pivotal role sports play in the personal and societal development of young girls. The program is steered by our devoted Coach Phoebe Kariuki, who is deeply committed to the cause and uses sports as a powerful instrument to instigate positive changes in girls’ lives.
One of the standout features of the Program is the EmpowHER Girls Ambassadors Football Cup. This event is more than just a sports competition; it serves as a platform to nurture talent and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and other entities within the sports community. The Cup provides young female athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills, grow their network, and gain invaluable support and guidance.
