David has over 15 years’ experience of fundraising, working with a wide range of institutional funding partners in support of work in both East and West Africa.

His experience includes work with Government donors (US, Dutch, UK), supranational institutions (European Commission , World Bank) , national institutions (e.g. Big Lottery Fund) and a host of Trusts & Foundations.
David has an in-depth understanding of and skills supporting grant writing and grant management, including financial reporting, impact reporting and relevant legal disclosures.

He first became involved in NextGen in 2022 after 18 months living in Nairobi. He currently lives and works in the UK.
